OUR WORK

| 2018

This proposal for a temporary installation inside a shipping container uses mirrors to alter user's haptic understand of the world around them through three zones of interaction and experience.

The second iteration of our investigations for this civic event, the work asks users to think deeply about themselves and their memories in public space. We were excited to collaborate with Meesh Zucker of [Restart] Your City.

This installation invites users to engage with a public street in a new way: laying down. A simple, modular architecture provides a platform for a dynamic, revelatory experience and promotes new ideas about social and programmatic hierarchies in the city.

Brian's graduate thesis explored the ways installation-scaled architecture can employ mirrors to create unique spatial conditions. Inside the unreal space of the mirror, social constraints fall apart and new hierarchies emerge.
